IPVanish takes over

I have router connected to my firestick.but when I turn on IPVanish its now off my router and becomes my internet connection.I don’t understand.

I hope this helps if IPvanish is set up on your router then all traffic from the router will pass to the ipvanish vpn. Unless you setup split tunneling.
If IPvanish is set up on your firestick all traffic from the firestick will pass to the ipvanish vpn. Again unless you split tunnel.

I found the problem.I had the Kill switch on.thanks for the advise.I’ll keep that in mind
