I just tried to start IPvanish on my laptop and each time I started it said that my location does not support the Wire guard protocol. Has to switch to OpenVPN to get it started. I tried quite a few server locations all with the same result. Anyone else seeing this?
Yes. Your IP does not have the necessary protocols in place to support the Wireguard protocol. Not a huge issue. Simply go into your IPVanish settings and use the open vpn udp protocol. Still as secure but probably more compatable with your IP and thus in fact faster.
