IPTV Smarters on Linux Computer

Just to be (less than) trendy, I did a google search for iptv players for Linux.

My daily driver is a LInux MInt 19.3 machine, which is a fork of Ubuntu.
The option that seemed best to me was Smarters, which I installed and have been using for today’s viewing (AKA: wasting time).

It works very well! And my machine is nowhere near modern.
It does have an old AMD video card and a dedicated card does help matters.

I’m going to try Kodi for this. Using Kodi on a stick or box doesn’t make much sense to me,
but on a computer, it might particularly for recording purposes.

Here’s where I DL’d the app:

Is this a premium version of the app?
Sorry for the late follow up :joy:

I’m not at home to check for sure, but if ‘premium’ costs any money, then it’s definitely a free version.
(I’m a cheap-ass bastard)

actually now days smarters pro is free for android but im not sure about other platforms

Didn’t know that…
I’ll try to check next week, if you remind me. Grandson does tend to run me ragged.
