I must download a new version and I will read their website. If they really did, that’s great and about time. I can consider them again when my renew comes up.
** Cool, I’ve just read the site and you’re correct. They also talk a lot about it for those who don’t understand the pro’s and con’s of using it. Mostly pro’s of course.
@Jayhawks659, It was proof they had it, not proof it was on all platforms and reading what they said about it was important and as @AJS1 said, we still don’t know if it works properly. SS does.
@JerryJ IPVanish is still missing kill switch in Fire TV and Android TV/Google TV App. You can install a separate app on your Firestick called the IPVanish Kill Switch. They’ve always had kill switch on Android & iOS phone and tablet apps like @Jayhawks659 is showing but for some reason they can’t figure out how to do it on Fire TV or Android TV/Google TV without a separate app.
I use IP Vanish and I have a Firestick. I just clicked on the threat protection button and it’s working fine. And I did it as soon as I got the notification from IP Vanish.
OK, so I found the IPV Kill Switch app for my cube. Went through the steps to set it up and I received a flag notice that the kill switch was active. I went back to look in the account information but there is no indication that it is there and active. So I wondered how would I even test this to make sure it even works?
Now I’m confused and yes it was a response and method. Go to your VPN, disconnect from any server you happen to be using that would let it run on your regular ISPs showing your real IP. Disconnecting from a VPN server does not stop the services or program from running or else kill switches cant work at all. At that point if the kill switch works, you will no longer have access to the internet. I can`t explain it any better. Let us know please as this is brand new for IPV, SS works just fine.
