Interfernce with vpn

I tried to watch a hockey game on my Firestick with my vpn connected.The hockey would not show.With my vpn disconnected the hockey game would show.I would like to use vpn. What is wrong/

Did you try and change your VPN location? So if it’s say a Blackhawk game try changing to a location close to Chicago. Now there are some blackout issues and I’m not sure how that might affect a VPN, so try a location farther away, say New York.
