Install plug-in from zip file

I am trying to install the plug-in described into Matrix 19.4. Went to File Manager>Add Source and typed in path. Went to Install From Zip found my file and selected it. Nothing happened from there. I could use sum detailed help on how to get this plug-in installed.

If the directory is leading you to the Zip file at a source location, the folder needs to be ‘unzipped’ giving you access to the file.

I think you missed the whole point, Mr. Moderator. The path that I showed is for a plug-in to Kodi itself and it allows users to modify the order of the thumbnails in the Favourites screen. I don’t have the context menu that contains options to “Move Up” or “Move Down” and nobody will tell me how to access and modify the “favourites.xml” file. This is my last hope. maybe this is a candidate for one of Troy’s weekly newsletters. Thanks
