Increase Internal Storage Fire TV 2nd Generation

Can anyone help me with increasing Internal Storage on a Fire TV 2nd Generation. I inserted a micro SD Card from Amazon specifically for Fire TV
. When I inserted the card it showed as External Storage.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Larry,

I don’t have my Fire TV 2nd Gen box anymore but from memory, you should be able to go into settings / My Fire TV, or something similar to that, storage, click your SD card and then format as internal storage.

If the Fire TV recognized the SD card you are good to go. If you go to Settings, Applications, and Manage Installed Applications once you select most of the applications you’ve added it will give you an option to Move To SD Card. I don’t know if it classifies as internal or external storage.
