I have firestick 4k and it does not update. It say there was a error updating the system. I am on 6.2.2.7 version. How to solve this?

Have you, at one time, used the “debloat” toolbox? Or perhaps followed the ADB commands to turn off updating?

Not that i know of it’s not updating for couple of years

I have used debloater yes

Then the “block” updates may be enabled. You can open the debloat toolbox and then uncheck everything and set it. Then try updating.

Hi Miki did what you suggested but it’s still not updating. Any other suggestions

Are you comfortable installing the ADB Shell from Troy’s RAI? If so then we could try running the ADB Shell commands to enable updating again.

Ok l gave got ADB shell downloaded. I will try what you suggest thank you
