Lets put it this way, I spent years as a systems programmer in an engineering dept. I know that for every bug we fixed we introduced 10 more
Just the way it is. When new things come out, I tend to wait, my days of beta testing were over decades ago. There have been enough people who update and have to revert back to an older product. Even when apple would have a major update on IOS (Sorry when I first started, I actually used a few apple products) I would not update until the reviews come in. The best example of not updating is this small company, I think it was called Microsoft
where every second windows they put out was a total disaster and most people couldnāt use it and updated to the next. Sooner or later I update but while things are working well for me, there is just no rationale that I see that would warrant me to follow suit unless itās forced and we know some apps are forced. I hope everyone had a great Canada day and 4th of July.
I tend to fall into this logic. I usually wait a bit before jumping in. I wait and watch the level of issues and complaint drop down a bit before I go for the latest and greatest.
Iām the impatient one and always have been. I must also be the lucky one as Iāve never had issues with updating as soon as they come out. Been doing it this way for 35 years. To each their own. Although I do admit Iāve never bothered with beta testing.
Then I guess alpha testing is totally out of the question
Itās different when youāre paid for it ![]()
The decision on updating is easy for me especially when it comes to KODI. Been using the same KODI Build for about 6 years now. when the Build Dev updates I update! ![]()
I was offered entry into the windows beta program when we were writing entire Reg keys for XP Black, but I never wanted to be without my system and couldnāt trust that that Beta was stable. Thatās at a time when I was dual booting Win and Ubuntu and running my site servers overseas, so I couldnāt afford to lose any functionality. Everything has advanced at a crazy speed and now instead of testing I just prefer to enjoy all that is possible now.
Exactly. That testing was in another lifetime. I never ran ubuntu but when I worked for Atari for a short time, we had a T800 transputer system that ran a linux based OS. Of course we didnāt sell any, like so many people wanted and needed that. Linux was always important for me. Why? Because it was the one server I could run a speed test that actually had the bandwidth. ![]()
Try vlc beta versions, nightly builds Iām running 3.6.0 beta 3 on Firestick Next Gen works OK plus itās got loads of custom stuff switched on in settings.
Remote access server is pretty good and works pretty well on Firestick to access remote Nas etc
Receiving message no streams were found. This was on everything I had try to play within the Stremio app. I have real-debrid and torrento. Any fix for this? Thank you in advance.
Have you checked to see if youāre Real Debrid is still active and not run out? Also is it just one particular program/movie or is it on everything?
Appears Torrentio is down. I cannot access the website.
Everything. A post after this said torrento is down. Thank you
Thank you
I agree about Torrentio being down. I canāt get any streams on PC, Nvidia box, or my android phone. My real debrid account is OK. I get the following on my PC torrentio.strem.funās server IP address could not be found.
Try:
Iām experiencing the same. It worked fine last night but is not pulling streams this morning. A bunch of error messages showed up on my screen when trying to load a showātoo many to remember. However, Orion and TPB within Stremio still pull links just not as many as Torrentio.
Same here no strings today this morning!
Does anyone know when this will be fixed or is it down for good?
I do have some sources functioning but not Torrentio or any other RD sources.
Is that dang @MarkxG, I just know it! LOL
