I decided to install Stremio with Torrentio using Preiumize.me. I used the tutorial that Troy supplied. Everything was going great until it was time to load the Stremio addons. If you enter the web site Troy supplied “https://stremio-addons.netify.app/” my Malwarebytes flagged it as phishing and wouldn’t let me continue. I decided to take the chance and I turned off Malwarebytes. Tried it again. This time my virus program stopped me with the same error. I turned off my virus program and tried it again. This time it took me to a Mcafee site as if I was purchasing software I didn’t order. I immediately closed it. Turned back on AVG and Malwarebytes. I was able to work through it to get the addon needed by going to the site directly. I also tried going to that addon site on another computer and Malwarebytes blocked it. Anyway I just wanted to warn everyone about that link and hope Troy will update his tutorial on installing Stremio.

I downloaded Stremio on the firestick for the first time, I set an account up by following the install guide… do I need a PC to finish setting up? I used my phone and the link just throws up 404 error

You can use your phone or tablet if you have Stremio installed on one of them. I use my Tablet to add/remove/test addons. I never watch vod on my tab.
Can you make a video or provide an article, explaining the setup of Stremio via an Android TV Box (and the process of adding/removing addons)?
Using Troy’s video for installing Stremio, cannot get past link screen. I downloaded from Stremio site and thru downloader. Always goes to link screen. This should be where you can sign in. The manual sign in is not listed on bottom of page like in video. I’ve tried scanning code but, allows me to install on my phone which I don’t want yet. Stremio will not allow me to configure app without linking to a device first.
I usually install stremio on my android phone first, login with the account i created and configure it that way, then when you sign in on your device you want to use it with it is all setup.
I will try that after my first cup of coffee. I have it installed on my pc. I guess I should put it on my phone too. Thanks.

Ok heres some background first . I have 3 tvs in 3 diferent rooms . They all have a 4k super max firestick . Surfshatk vpn and premiumize.me on them . I have comcast or xfinity interenet 1000mbps . I have today installed stremio on all 3 . I have configured it first . In two rooms i can watch episodes of the same show . And on the 3rd tv i cannot . Can anyone help and explain why this is happening . It says playback has failed and its switching to vcl player . But then it doesnt play . Please help .
What is the make and model of the TVs? That one TV must be different in specs and perhaps cannot play the vid. For instance my Samsung will not play Dolby Video, just HDR.

Just download and install it again. Log into it and all your setup will be applied. Your setup is kept in the cloud.
