The Bootstrapper is INCREDIBLE! It transforms how Stremio works and it takes about 5 minutes or less to set up. Thank you!
You are very welcome. Since Troy introduced the insiders to this new aid to the Stremio setup it has recieved glowing praise. I may have to bite the bullet, delete all my present add-ons, and give it a go. Glad you like it.
Per the video, you donāt need to delete current add-ons. Bootstrapper installs right over the top of them. Itās super cool and adds multiple categories of shows and movies. Youāll laugh but itās so visually appealing compared to KODI that you want to use it .
Hey thanks for that. No excuses Iāve just been lazy. I know you love your streaming and if you say itās that easy then itās worth a try. Thanks.
You try some of the skins available on Kodi they are great for customising how kodi looks.
My KODI works really really well and i donāt dare monkey with it. It doesnāt matter that I use the main skin, I only care about the functionality of it.
I did figure out how to make all the KODI settings hold on the ONN android box. I simply āforce stopā it every single time before I unplug it. The settings that I changed from the video here have held for two weeks.
Thanks for the tip though, maybe one day Iāll mess with it.
New Stremio questionā¦keep in mind Iām a newbie to Stremio. In looking at links generated (Iām using PM), it looks like the links toward the end of the line say ādownloadā. I assume I never want to actually download anything but only want to stream? Correct?
Is there a settings change so the ādownloadā links donāt even populate?
Thanks. Iām still warming up too Stremio and Bootstrapper helped a bunch. Per Papa, I added Orion too. Thanks you all.
I see those also but as theyāre at the end of the populated list I just ignore them. I configured the premium services to only show me 1080 and up and they are always at the beginning of the list so although the downloads are there I never actually see them. I will have to look at my media fusion and comet configuration panel again to see if I can turn those off.
You might get the indexer (Stremio Lite?) but it wonāt play anything on Apple devices.
You know nothing John Snow , working absolutely perfect on my iPad . Stremio torrentio and real-debrid just the same as my shield
Stremio lite is not an indexer, itās an app and works on my iOS device just the same as the android version of Stremio.
Stremio is releasing a beta update for anyone who wants to test their newest Android TV updateā¦
Interesting. I downloaded āStremioā from the Apple App Store on my iPhone a couple of months back and got āStremio Organizerā. Showed everything except the ability to play the programs. I tried it again today, based on what you said, and it downloaded āStremio Liteā which appears to be the fully functional version.
I doubt Apple will allow it to stay on there very long!
Thanks for this. I will await @Miki to give a thumbs up before I attempt anything crazy. Iām liking Stremio more and more.
Personally, and only due to an overabundance of caution, I never install Beta apps when they are first released. I prefer to wait and watch and observe any potential issues, and then if theyāre just minor issues I might give it a try. As my Stremio is performing perfectly, I just as soon not take chances. Yes, in the past, Iāve been a Beta tester, and never had any issues. But I was much younger then, and using a desktop system, where I could create partitions for specific Beta testing. Now as Iām older I prefer not to be a tester and wait for stable releases.
We will keep close watch on it and proceed with extreme caution.
Awesome!
