I feel your frustration. It can be maddening! Stremio is certainly not becoming easier, in fact it becomes more Kodi-ish everyday.
Most insiders learned watching YouTube videos years ago when the gurus download the apps, went thru the settings and opened and played videos. Perfect for us visual learners!
Try setting up Stremio using Bootstrapper with either TorBox or Premiumize accepting the defaults (except USA TV) and nothing else. You’ll be surprised how good that is and expand as your user experience and curiosity.
We know it can be frustrating, don’t let it. Watch Troy’s video on Bootstrapper and give us a shout if you run into a snafu. We’ll all help. Don’t let the restrictions on tutorials frustrate you. It’s the Movie Police not us.
SNAFU is a WWII expression meaning Situation Normal All Fouled Up, sometimes other words beginning with" “F” are substituted. Because sometimes SNAFU happens!
If you follow the instructions step by step while pausing the video, it’ll work flawlessly. My only gripe is that Stremio doesn’t have the option to sort your addons like Nuvio does.
@TROYPOINT sorry for the tag, but I have two questions for you at your convenience please:
FIRST one being: how would I setup Debridio when I use two debrid services? Just configure one for Torbox in Debridio, add it, and then repeat the process for Premiumize and have one for each i’m assuming?
SECOND question: I haven’t seen you post anything about STRMR lately? I installed it because at one point I read your post about it being a more updated (iirc; I don’t remember the exact wording you used so please) version of Stremio? Is this still the case?
@JonathanDough Here is the link to reorder your Stremio addons. I’ve used it many times and I love it. Its the little things like this that make a difference.
Well, I went ahead and installed Debridio with TB and another instance with RD on Stremio and on Nuvio. Based on a very limited sample size, I can’t say that it scraps any better than Sootio, Comet or Meteor.
I’m more of an Umbrella on Kodi regular, but I’ll try to remember to utilize Stremio and Nuvio more to test Debridio out. I’m going to try to get $10 of use out of it.
All those addons are ELF hosted and have a rate limit unless you are self hosting them. You won’t run into that issue Debrdio or Torrentio. I’ve had Debridio for at least 6 months and its rock solid, worth the $10.
Been using PM for over 6 hrs now and HDR 10+ and all over 45GBs and still have 99%. Working on 4th movie now. This was just a test. I actually prefer TB. Then it doesn’t matter.
To date I think debridio is my fav scraper of all time, I picked it up back when Troy talked about it for the 1st time and its been very good, ive defaulted to debridio as my 1st choice for streams
I use Kodi/Umbrella and Kodi/Seren and just started with Stremio, as well. I have been using RD and P but now you recommend Debridio? Is there any substantial difference or is it just preference?
I don’t think you understand what Debridio is. It isn’t a debrid service. It is like a control app for addons where you add your debrid services into those addons.
