I tested this and it does work as explained but I still use SmartTube on all of my streaming boxes. The dev keeps app updated and it always works.

Thank you it works perfectly! Be sure to completely back out of you tube by shutting it down completely and clear all of your cache, then load it back up again, no ads. Yay!

i might not get the point of this thread? just use smart tube? dev keeps it updated and works perfectly?
If you are using a device with only 8 GB of storage, itāll make perfect sense to utilize a solution that doesnāt involve having an extra app installed on the device.

All I did was set my IP vanish to Albania and no more ads. I absolutely hate ads and who can afford to pay for the version that eliminates them.

I find the picture quite a bit sharper but a few times Iāve tried to watch something I already started and itās not going to where I left off. Iāve never had that with Smarttube.
