Anyone tried installing aps or iptvsmarters on a Raspberrypi. I had my first Kodi installation on a Raspberry Pi2 I think it was Kodi17.
If it ever came to the point, Google blocked Sideloading completely and Amazon followed,
There is as said still the option of Kodi and Tivimate plus New televisions have iptv players on them which can be used for live and on Demand content.
I use IBO player pro on my 100inch TV I got from amazon

i use the app syncler, i guess that will be affected
I just watched a video on YouTube from TDUK He is saying their is a fix for google blocking third party apps using ADB .I don’t no enough to explain it to you all but he seems quite confident . Check it out .

i just bought a formuler z11 pro max box and i love it! amazon and google is controlling the box that you bought too many times, so i ditched my firestick and ONN boxes.

Congrats you bought a great box, however …
You may be a tad early as fully blocking sideloading is not due to hit the US, UK & CAN until 2027. The Formuler boxes are one of the premium non Google certified boxes. If I were to buy a new box it would surely be non Google certified. But then who’s to say Amazon and Google won’t accelerate their evil plans … And you’ll be ready

Now I have to look up the ADB command for installing an app and give it a go. Also have to install the ADB Shell again. Always something new to learn.

Command : adb install (package name)
This should do the trick if you have a PC.

Thanks Troy. Haven’t had a desktop or even a windows laptop since the Windows XP Black days. I moved around a lot and as a tradesman I could get jobs anywhere so traveled light. Never did get back into it when I shut my Torrent site down. Only finally got back into it when I lucked into your site and started catching up on learning. The ADB will definately be the ticket. Now to learn the commands for installing apps. Cheers.

Is this only for pc/computers? I don’t have a laptop or computer. I only have the onn 4k pro android tv box. Thanks, Troy
Yeah, but I’m pretty sure there are similar apps for Android phones/tablets so you can connect from those to your Android TV Box.
Also, I still think a lot of these app devs will still become certified even if they aren’t available in Google Play. The ones who won’t want to get verified will be those who include malware into their apps and we don’t want to install those anyway.
