Are you connected to a VPN when trying to access Disney+?
If so, disconnect; then connect to Disney+. It’s a subscription service and thus no VPN is required. However, if you would like to continue viewing with your VPN connected, then go into your VPN settings menu, and click on split tunneling, next scroll down the list of apps you don’t want the VPN to have access to.
Next time you click on one of those selected apps, it should play, and you will continue to be connected to the VPN.

I do know that Disney+ had issues last night until about 4 this morning but it should be g2g now. To ensure that there was not an error in Disney+ during an I/O operation that may cause an inactive state in the app, please completely unplug the power from your device for about 30 seconds and then restart the device and try Disney+ again. Let us know how you make out please

Good to know. Issues started last night. Today still have. Deleted and reloaded app. Still problem. Last night restarted cube but did not do today. Will try that

In fact NOT having a vpn may be exactly your issue as Disney+ is Geo-restricted. So if you’re trying to access Disney content from a region where it isn’t allowed you may be blocked and need to use a vpn to allow the connection.

Disney+ is geo-restricted and only available in a few locations like the US, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Puerto Rico.

In the US. Not the problem. Everything else works that does or does not require VPN

Restarted cube. Still same problem. After select profile spins wheels says no Internet

Did you actually remove the cube power? If you’re in the States then you should not have any issue with Disney+. As this seems to be your only app issue then you need to contact their tech ppl and ask them because Disney+ is supposedly working. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

You marked a solution? Did you resolve this? Disney plus is a paid app, if the vpn is off and you are still having issues contact their support or Amazon.

Paid apps shouldn’t be having connection issues while login in unless you are trying to bypass geo locks.
