I have a second generation fire cube that goes dark and then returns to the programming. It has sufficient storage space left. As a work a round, I found that by unplugging and replugging in the unit, it seems to rectify the situation for a while. Anyone else have this problem or some thoughts.

I had that on my 1st generation cube, but not on my 2nd generation…yet. LOL I would do the same thing you did by rebooting it.
I didn’t have that problem, mine started running very slow. Took forever to load anything. I restarted without unplugging. Seems to have worked.
I seem to have solved the problem by going through each program and deleting the cache. Not sure why it works, but why question
