This is my post from awhile ago. I’ve got four functioning sticks, 3 lite and 1 4k Max. The issue happened on all four devices and the results were the same. On all devices on SS, settings>auto connect>kill switch were enabled. I’d have a show playing and the red dot would flash. I’d wait 30 to 60 seconds and watched the show continue to play, meaning the kill switch didn’t engage and for that minute my security was being compromised. I’d open up SS and my VPN would connect immediately. I contacted SS via chat spent a few hours and got nowhere. According to them the kill switch works perfectly.
Since then I don’t enable the kill switch, but I do use the auto connect.
It’s been awhile but I haven’t seen the red dot appear on any device since I discontinued use of the kill switch.
If anyone has had this issue or knows that the kill switch now functions properly I would appreciate being advised.
