I followed the tutorial and installed all 3 apps. Like I said, my main google account has an email that is not a gmail address and that is the one that wouldn’t let me sign in. My second account has a gmail address and I was able to sign in with that one. Thanks for the tutorial.

So which is better, SmartTubeNext or Revanced? Is there any benefit to one over the other?
Sorry PF but I’ve never used youtube or any of it’s variations, netflix or Prime. I have the services disabled for them on all my devices.

I use SmartTube. maybe I will download the Revanced one just to see.
Why don’t you use any of the Youtube clones? There’s a ton of free stuff on there and a lot of info. I’m not talking about their paid sub. I don’t and won’t buy that, but the free tube stuff is very interesting. I find myself watching Youtube stuff quite a bit.
I just hate you tube is all. Even if it’s free.

Well, I did my little test and got everything loaded. It took quite awhile to download and install. Had to use the Mouse Toggle and Set Orientation but was able to navigate and play everything. No Ads!
Being that this app is optimized for touchscreen application it does get a bit wonky trying do stuff, especially closing out and exiting the app.
Bottom line, I uninstalled it and will stick with SmartTube. I was just curious is all.

To the best of my knowledge there is no benefit to one over the other. Both are ad free but SmartTube is for AndroidTv (or FireTV) devices and ReVanced is for Android mobile devices

After installing Youtube Revanced on my android phone, I’m able to view Youtube vids. However, when trying to login to Youtube Music, it tells me that the account already exists on my phone and will not allow me to login to the app or play music. Has anyone else had this issue?
Update: Uninstalled old version of Youtube Music and downloaded the version inside your Youtube Revanced profile. Thanks for the assistance.
Update#2: Youtube Music now has ads though. Gotta figure out how to get rid of ads now. Thanks again.
