Can't Install Downloader on Fire TV Stick

I just bought a new Firestick so I could put downloader on it. Crazy Amazon won’t let me down load the downloader program. Is there any other way I can download a great IPTV program that I use on my ONN box?

I know ts a fire stick but if it’s the latest one either there system you will have problems

Return it if you can. Firesticks are much more restrictive now. Save the headaches and get an Onn. If you can find one right now. Lol

If it’s a Firestick “Select” then nothing will work on it. If its any other Firestick, some apps will work for a while but their days are likely numbered. Get a $15 Onn HD Stick from Wally World!

You must have bought the new Fire TV Stick Select.

You can’t install Downloader on this device because they run a different operating system (Vega) that doesn’t allow for side-loaded apps.

I agree 100% with @JPM69 return it and get a Walmart Onn 4K Plus or Onn 4K Pro.

You can install Smart STB, its the only IPTV app aveilable on Firestick Select that im aware of. Costs 4 eur license and a guy complained he had no audio on some channels but so far its the only option.

Can’t download the the Downloader app,but can’t you just download the smarters app and other players tivimate from the player store or Google store and add your content on them,url,username,password

Lighten up, Frances. Nobody is bad mouthing the Firestick, most people who have one love it. People are complaining because Amazon is locking them down which is disabling some apps and not allowing sideloading. If there is a YT video to show how to add Downloader then maybe you could have been nice and provided the link. Now go outside, take a deep breath, and touch some grass. Geez.

Unfortunately, being able to download and install the DownLoader app doesn’t address the issue of Amazon blocking the apps people are wanting to use, which is the real issue here.

Return it and get the 2nd generation Firestick 4k max and you will have no problem getting downloader
