BuzzTV PowerStation 6 Review - Most Powerful Android Box

I think mine always auto updates. I don’t recall seeing a control for that to prevent automatic updates? Is there one?? I’m at work now so not sure yet if it already updated or not.

Yes. Washing the car would make it worth while, but in view of the HDR screwup in the new update, makes one wonder.

Does it do the same with standard HDR10 or just HDR10+?

Same with HDR. Thing is I make the color brightness change for the 1080 or 2160min Stremio, then when I go back into TiVimate I have to turn the brightness down or it’s washed out.

Maybe test some HDR content on Tivimate or another VOD app to make sure that the update is only affecting Stremio. Install YouTube and test some HDR content from there.

I hate you tube and I’ll have to find another VOD App player but you’ve given me an Idea, I’ll switch the player in Stremio from libVLC to the ExoPlayer and see of that helps. I tested some 4K in TiVimate and it’s all good.

Hot damn. Thanks for the clue @Avid08 back to the ExoPlayer and I have my perfect picture back. Woooo whooooo I owe ya a big one. Thanks.

I am using 64bit Stremio and colors, brightness, etc are all pretty much as before, just a bit crisper. Using Exoplayer

Exactly. But I had the libVLC and what a disaster. Glad you got ExoPlayer. Now I do see the pic is slightly crisper in the HDR10+ and I may have to dial the nits back a tad. I also use the 64 Bit. I choose 64 APKs whenever I can now.

Colors also really pop with Syncler2. Very vibrant

Tivimate uses Exoplayer as its internal player as does many android iptv players and VOD apps including Syncler and YouTube on Android.

Glad it was a simple fix and I had forgot you didn’t use Exoplayer on Stremio on your P6

Oh hey you never have to apologize to me. You are helping so many here that it becomes difficult to remember every minute detail. I’m just pleased that my discussion with you and your suggestion to test out certain things pointed me in the right direction, and again I thank you for that. I have fired off a lengthy PM to buzz global here outlining the issues thier update caused, hopefully they will look into it and fix it. Have a good day Mr. @Avid08 be well.

hey Troy new patron member & new to all of this in general just bought a buzzstation p6. It’s hard to use the google chrome on the device to use website based steams. What do you recommend? Also what is your most recommended IPTV service. My main use for these systems is sports.

I have the Buzz P6L 256. I don’t ever surf the net on my P6L but on the rare occasion that I do, I use the Downloader app as it is also a web browser. Likely you have it installed so perhaps give it a try. Also the P6 has a built in pointer that you can use to assist navigating around a website and to use to activate links without the need to highlight and enter.

welcome

yes i like using sites like streameast etc. to watch ufc/nfl. seems like the chrome app is not very user friendly when it comes to the p6. my firestick operates on these websites much more seamlessly. i dont have iptv yet. what is the best iptv right now?

On the P6 I rarely surf the net or do anything but watch TV and test various apps. When I do go online I use the Browser in the Downloader app. Works for me. All my online stuff, like the insider, I do on my Tablet.

You got to find one that’s right for you.

For those of you who have this box do you like the iptv app that comes with it?

I believe they prefer Tivimate / Sparkle over BuzzTV 6 IPTV app

I have been using the Buzz TV app somewhat, but also have Tivimate and Sparkle. It has certain advantages like integration with the remote buttons that make it useful. I could only get it to work with an extreme codes setup not with M3U. It also records well. Overall, I like the concept and hope they continue to improve it; as I’ve found a few bugs.
