Best Way to Remove Bloatware on Nexbox

I have a Nexbox A1.

I am looking to remove all bloatware and streamline the device as much as possible.

What is the best way that I can do this?

Start with a system reset and then remove…?

I have also heard that there is custom firmware for this device and I am wondering if anyone is using them and what their feedback is (should I install them, and if so, which one)?
