I tested my free XCIPTV setup - took 30 seconds to start and load up.
Try going to Setting> Apps > Clear App cache - hopefully that will fix your issue ( free version is funded by ads )
I finally did contact AB and did purchase the yearly package. The IPTV downloader suggestions she provided didnāt work for me (8k+, 8K vip, max). So I watched the bonus video on IPTV Smarters Pro. Great info of you havenāt but I keep getting a delayed white screen when I click live TV. This happens after clicking (and waiting a long time) the Electronic Program Guide. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks on advanceā¦
I am running myonlinetv3 on Formuler, tivimate premium on another android device and UHF premium on ipad.
They all work great, each with pluses and minuses, which just comes down to personal preference.
Are you trying to use a different app?
For the trial you used IPTV smarters - extending this to yearly package should not need you to do anything
I have helped peeps with their setup.
When they see a fully setup MYTVOnline 3 / ease of use with remote - almost all choose this.
Have setup a few Firestick with Tivimate, IPTV smarters and implayer - many went with Formuler route when the upgraded their device

As it seems like STRONG is the favourite choice from AB, and Iāve found it reliable, what service would people suggest as a backup? Are any of ABās others as good (cheap would be good too)?
My main requirement is to be able to watch English Premier League (soccer) while away from home (will always have decent broadband and take an android box with me)

This would depend on your setup / ISP/ VPN settings.
My take is Strong offers the most in terms of stream source options Raw / Hevc / UHD /HD and SD which you have.
For back up - start with the cheapest option to test first

She ranked them for me in terms of dependability a while back and her 2nd most reliable/popular is TREX. Itās the same price as Strong so maybe do a trial on that service.
No still using Smarters Pro but cannot view live TV function. Watched Troyās videos on installation and bonus video. I have a ridiculous amount of viewing material so every refresh (series/movies/EPG) takes long time. The only thing I noticed on install video, Troy accepted terms/conditions upon installing. I didnāt have that option. The only reference I saw was a notice at bottom of screen that said by āusing playerā I agree to accept terms.
@CGVet44 ,sorry you are having probs with Smarters, i am one of the few here that prefers it over the other Free and paid players that I have tried, while it runs neck and neck with Sparkle Plus player which Troy has a review forā¦.but to your issue, have you gone into Smarters and updated the EPG ? if not, that MAY be the problemā¦.

There are features of both that i like and dislike/ if they could be combined with what I like best of both then i would gladly pay double the yearly fee to have a player that meets all choices that make ME happy.
I have not updated EPG, thanks for the suggestion. I assume that is settings? One thing that I did notice watching Troyās install video was that he has the option to accept terms and condition. I didnāt have that option. It just has link to (silk browser) notice stating by using player I accept terms.
maybe watch Troyās video again to make sure you didnāt miss a step, because in setup you have to log in using Xtream Codes, but you still need to update EPG as wellā¦.im not at my tv, and donāt wanna send ya down a rabbit hole with bad information, so when i get home i will check and see your status and if anyone else hasnāt helped then weāll have a go at itā¦.

Ok, appreciate that. Iām trying sparkle with no issues other than not having premium, so I donāt think itās a streaming issue but do like Smarters Pro.
