Trying to fing a way to create epg for iptv.org on Kodi or other platforms. Is there an easier and free way to do it?
Has anyone tried adding MyEPG trial to Smarters Pro? I’ve tried several times without success using the provided shortened URL tool and Smarters Pro returns a “Failed” download. Any feedback appreciated. Been reading and searching through posts but didn’t see this particular issue that I’m experiencing.

Honestly I’ve never done a search in Tivimate. I can usually find what I’m looking for either in my Favorites or one of the Groups. I don’t think the search functionality has anything to do with MyEPG. Perhaps someone else can assist
make sure the index is setup to draw from myiptv epg. Look in settings>>>playlist>>>…click on your playlist(m3u) and make sure the epg’s you want are enabled. You can see this under EPG sources. Also back in the menu section you can long click on a specific channel and scroll down to Assign EPG.
…also you might want to add https://epg.iptv.cat/epg.xml as a source. it might fill in some missing info.
This is by far the most effective and free EPG I have ever found. Updates about once a day. Remove brackets, number bubble and enter in your EPGs.

I have the same setup and the same problem. There is no easy fix. Here’s what’s going on based on downloading and looking at the playlist and epg source files. I’ll use the ESPN US channel as an example. In your playlist, the channels have a ‘channel id’, such as ‘espn us’. The EPG information has to have the same channel ID referenc to map to that channel. But, there is no standard that is used by the various EPG sources. The EPG link that Apollo gives you will have espn us in the EPG data, but Apollo is not very good about keeping the EPG info updated to the current dates plus future date data. Other EPG sources may reference ESPN as ‘ESPN HD’, or ‘ESPN us’ (notice upper vs. lower case), or even a channel ID for ESPN as a cross number, such as 413222. Bottom line, finding an EPG where the channel ID exactly matches your playlist channel ID will be very tough.
I tried using the service called epg.best for a while. But that wasn’t much better. It had almost as much missing EPG info as the Apollo EPG source file. Plus, when you point this out to the guy who runs epg.best, instead of fixing it, he will send you a note insulting you. Bottom line, he’s an a-hole.
The frustrating thing with Apollo is that if you use Startup Show as your live TV interface, the EPG data is present. But when they create their EPG file (if they actually create it vs. ‘obtaining it’) the hourly program data is missing. I feel your pain.
Anyone available to give some assistance on installing the myepg file into Tivimate?

Ok, then what do you call that big list of channels troypoint recommends for free? I have them listed as troypoint.com in my tivimate.
