I updated Bee TV and got the message that the original developer was stepping away and a Warning that the app would be “Community Maintained” by is open source community, whatever that means.
I believe it means that the dev has released the source code as open source, meaning anyone can download it and modify it for their use.
Hopefully someone responsible will take it on and get rid of the ads. It’s one of the better “crap apps”!
Bee-TV should be laid to rest. Why is it still around when Stremio is the head of the class now. ijs
I still found stremio to scrap useless streams. I added my rd accounts plus Orion. Spent 2 days and nights configuring all the meta fusions and comets but definitely a good backup they all have their good points and bad points ever was a fan of Bee TV. Cinema film Plus happy streaming
I’m still using it & so far still working on an onn device. Still lots of ads though. Looking for another app to try with less ads.

Worst still i updated to the new version of BeeTv 4.6.7 updated may 5th and it was a hoax. Cant use it any longer.. anyo e know where i can get a functional previous version for google onn?
Yep, BeeTV seems to have an auto destruct function now - try to open it and it crashes. Looks like RIP.
Yep, updated it last night and watched some stuff - just tried to fire it up and it came on for 2 seconds and then went back to my FS home screen. Clicking on link now does nothing at all.
I need a new alternative that is similar as I don’t have the patience or brain to get started with the Stremio scene.
Use Blockada 5 that blocks the Ads.
As a rule, free services can’t go on forever. They simply aren’t sustainable over the long term. Expecting them to be is not realistic.
Blockada 5 only works on phones, doesn’t it? I’ve had to use Blockada 4 on any TV/Box that I’ve tried.

Mimi I’m with you— let Bee die a peaceful death and learn how to load and configure Stremio. TROY’s instructional video is A#1 and will have you in a new world in less than an hour. My wife was a bent out of shape when Cinema and now Bee have gone down, but now grabs the controller stick for our NVIDIA to search Streamio for the latest. I use it on my me cool Google TV box and it blocks all Ads. I used Blockade 3 on my old box but it’s up to 5 now. I liked 3 better as it allowed you to select the DNS you wanted to use and other settings as well. This version has Cloudfare as the builtin selection, but it works.
