I thought this was all resolved by agreeing to their new terms of use as show at the start of this thread by @SoloWarrior & @itzme
I always avoided roku because of their locked system. Would recommend a google tv .You can use a google tv by it’s self or with a device and they come with different amounts of internal memory which can be easily expanded with a usb card reader and a sd card in the reader. The TCL works great for me along with all my other devices .

Roku’s new policy as of Jan 1, 2026 sent to me after I complained.
They changed their security and policies after I complained. This is what they sent me Jan 1, 2026

Roku changed their security and policity as of Jan 1, 2026. After I complained they sent me this update. Sept 2025, I bought a 65” Roku and it was fine. End of Oct 2025, I bought another Roku 65” and I couldn’t load Onn at all. Roku sent me this new policy effective 1/1/26. Privacy Policy
