It shows me that they know what they are doing, by actually caring enough about getting paid, by making it easy for the customer to pay them. What a GREAT concept, very smart of them. I’ll be damned if I’m going to jump thru 20 hoops like RD wanted, like go here to some other “reseller” site to pay them or become proficient in bitcoin, paysafe, utop.us, revolut etc. etc. What a bunch of bs. I’m not going to miss RD at all.
Have you tried Elementum? It works great here in Canada and doesn’t need any paid premium services attached. Give it a shot.
Thats a lot more than rd
It’s like 6 bux a month, if you buy a years worth right? Thought I saw 59 or so for a year with the sale, either way it’s not a lot and beats rd.
It isn’t a LOT more. At $3.88/mth it’s about a dollar more a month. As long as it works I’m quite happy. Cheaper than a single cup of coffee these days.
The crew seems to not find any streams since RB went down. I am still paid up till Feb 25 and I hear some say it still works. I will keep looking at tools and see what I can do.
The cost is more, but for the normal streamer, it’s not bad for a fully working hoster(s) provider that isnt running away from subpoenas right now.
The headache that comes from finding RD working sources and staying on top of when and how long they work is more distracting than the differential in the cost IMHO.
My biggest gripe with PM is the principal of their “fair use” quota system. While I can understand the “why” of it, I don’t accept the fact that’s it doesn’t exist to squeeze more revenue from heavier users.
RD was an unlimited use deal, unless limited by an individual hoster for daily use.
PM starts the meter on the fair use consumption on any directional traffic that goes through their server (e.g. You download a 3gb file into your cloud. At some point, you stream that file from your cloud for viewing. That’s 6gb of your allowance used.).
For most users, this allowance shouldn’t affect them, but the principal of this limited data (in a world where unlimited is the accepted baseline) will turn off many users.
Same for me. It has never stopped working. I get the odd pop-up telling me that a stream I picked has been blocked, but I simply select another one. I’m also seeing a few movies and TV shows with no RD streams, but they’re still rare. Assuming this post has not aroused the streaming gods who will soon smite me, I’ll also continue to use it until I can’t.
Agreed…
Sounds like no fun, I don’t think I would use the cloud in that case.
My problem with PM is that on Syncler it does not always find a link, but finds one in Cinema. I have to switch between the two depending on what TV show I want to watch.

PM is adding additional servers to help with the sudden influx of customers. I see improvements every day. Not huge ones but at least you can see it getting better. Remember to do a server speed test to find the fastest one for you. Make sure to set your VPN to a server near you then test the PM server speeds. I found that most PM servers give me between 140 and 145 Mbps down, with reasonable latency.
