This is still over my head. Are you taking about the 2.4 and 5.0 bands? To my knowledge, the 5 is faster but the 2.4 travels better. I believe I have the cameras on 2.4 and everything else on 5. Not sure how I’d determine how much bandwidth the camera’s take, but they are Blink Outdoor camera’s going to a module with a usb drive in it to record motion detected videos (don’t have to spend money on the cloud). Was paying $90+ for Xfinity 175 mbps…ridiculous. So dropped the account and used a different name to sign up for 300 mbps for $50 (with auto pay). I suggest others look into this…seems like a pretty good deal. Came with a free Xfinitiy “Flex Box” too.
Switch to Filmplus and most of the problems will be solved.
