You donât need a powerful device to run IPTV and it doesnât take much bandwidth either to run it.
$499 USD. Still $649 CAD.
Way too high a price for a streaming box, regardless of its performance. The shield pro may be old but it still out performs the cube, Onn pro and 4Kmax on all levels. That said, there is a difference between need and want. For me, I want to see your reactions to this box before I sink that kind of money into a streaming box. I use a hdmi/usb connector to attach to my Mac and obs software lets me record and edit and save all the video I can handle.
In other words, whatever works for you. I have no buffering with the ONN Pro ($40 vs $500), and thatâs my standard. Donât need 8 gigs ram. Itâs nice having a gig LAN adapter, but there are less expensive options for that (and I use wifi anyway).
Couldnât run Netflix on my last Buzz TV device. Has this been fixed?
Unless it is running an official version Google TV os or ATV os and has the necessary Netflix license you wonât be able to.
Netflix decides not device manufacturer or Google.
There are certified Google TV devices that are not Netflix certified
