Tried that but nothing shows up. Gotta be me!

Got it after getting my head out of my …

Patachou, Mr. SoloWarrior confirmed that Real Debrid is actually in France. And you do know that those French folks are a bit crazy :grin:I I should know as my DNA says that I am 49% French.

I got bored and tried it. It’s not bad. It’s not doing enough to get me off TB but good to see more ships in the sea.

That’s a very good way to look at it imo.

I’ve found that prepaid don’t always work with out of US transactions.

@Hawksoar that’s really odd, as I’ve successfully paid for Real Debrid, Premiumize.Me and Torbox with my PayPal prepaid debit card. I am aware that the grocery store prepaid cards rarely ever work.

Sorry to hear that it didn’t work out for you. Were you using a PayPal prepaid debit card?

It was a store bought . I generally try and use PayPal whenever it’s accepted.

Thanks !

PayPal offers a PayPal prepaid debit card with your account. I’ve used mine quite a few times to pay one-time bills. So that I don’t have to use my personal bank account debit card which is tied to my checking account. I just move the needed funds to the PayPal card so that way nobody can take more than I have loaded on the card. If you don’t have any funds on the card, you just go to your PayPal account and transfer the needed funds for the transaction.

Has anyone tried out any of the Chinese debrid services yet? I see that one of them is actually listed on the NASDAQ! Xunlei Limited (NASDAQ: XNET) is a Chinese multinational technology company founded in 2003, headquartered in Shenzhen. It uses a technology called P2SP to accelerate downloads and has offered cloud storage and “offline” downloading as core features for years. As of their peak, they had around 142 million monthly active users and an 81.4% market share in cloud-accelerated services in China. This is a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq — not a small grey-area operation.

Server Locations

User reports indicate that Offcloud’s server infrastructure spans multiple countries, with confirmed servers in France (Fr), Finland (Fi), Germany (De), and Canada (Ca). Users also note that a US VPN significantly helps with speeds on cached content. OzBargain

There is no single consolidated datacenter — it appears to use distributed infrastructure across European and North American locations.

Recent Ownership/Management Changes

This is where things get interesting. Offcloud’s own homepage now states: “A new team has taken over and rebuilt everything from scratch. Same accounts, modern infrastructure, better experience.”

User reviews on Trustpilot corroborate this, with one customer noting that around late 2025/early 2026, Offcloud claimed “a member of staff passed” and announced they were “changing everything,” converting lifetime subscriptions to 1-year premium plans — a move that drew significant customer complaints. The legal entity (Alphaweb Ltd.) appears to remain the same, but internal management clearly changed hands. Trustpilot

Domain Registrar

The domain offcloud is registered through NameCheap, Inc.

  • Operated out of Bulgaria (EU member state, under Bulgarian law/courts)
  • The specific individual founders or owners of Alphaweb Ltd. are not publicly disclosed — no named principals appear in any public registry or the company’s own materials

Thank you

Now that the newness and novelty has a least somewhat worn off, are people finding Offcloud to be a good replacement for Torbox and/or RD?

So far, so good :+1:

Been using for about 6 months and no complaints.

Nah, but it’ll get there at some point

Though, I don’t think there’s too many reasons to dip from TB yet I never really opt for loyalty to a service or another.

voltima, thank you so much for the rundown on Offcloud. Great info!

Voltima please check your PMs and fix the issue I sent you. It’s rather urgent.

@voltima

Well now I also have OC. Actually cost me just inder $45 USD with exchange fees etc. $62.55cdn. Or $5.21 cdn/mth. so for only 1000GBs a month it ain’t cheap, but on par with PM for a single year, and we’ll see about sources and quality. Stream on all you Insider animals. :face_with_peeking_eye::nerd_face::joy:

You’re probably right. Maybe I was too harsh on Stremio. However, in the past week I have installed Nuvio. I hesitated for a long time because installing Nuvio seemed like a lot of work. But I did and I really like it. I had added Torrentio to Stremio and configured it according to Troy’s instructions. Using the same logic, I added 3 additional addons to Nuvio. So proud of myself. In all fairness, if I were to add more addons to Stremio it would be great too, probably.
